A stunningand very unusual pair of onyx earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring is comprised of twocarvedblack onyx spheres that hang from simple 14kt gold wires. The surface of the onyx has a wonderful combination of polished and matte textures that create a subtle, yet beautiful effect. The background is matte, while a pattern ofstars decorates the outside of each onyx ball. Each star floatsinside an open circle andhas a glossy, smoothly polished finish that is slightly raised above the black background. The onyx ball toppers have a matte surface and compliment the design perfectly. A gorgeous pair of Victorian earrings, they pair perfectly with modern day fashion and would make a perfect everyday accessory!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/4" long. The larger onyx bead measures 15mm in size, while the smaller onyx ball toppers measure 6mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or onyx beads, and the earring wires are secure.
